Making your own almond milk is not only quick and easy, but it guarantees freshness and is free from additives and preservatives. You will need a nut milk bag or muslin cloth for a really smooth result.

Ingredients
- 1 cup almonds
- 2 cups filtered water
Instructions
- Cover the almonds in water for a minimum of 2 hours, then strain.
- Add the almonds and the filtered water into a blender and blitz on high speed for 30 seconds.
- Strain the liquid into a jug lined with a muslin cloth or nutmilk bag and squeeze gently until all the almond milk has come through.
- You can keep the nut pulp to add to smoothies or make muesli bars, muffins or cakes.
