Lentil Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 garlic clove, peeled and chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 small tomatoe, diced
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 tablespoon bone broth concentrate
  • 1 cup brown lentils, rinsed under cold water
  • 1 carrot, peeled and chopped
  • 2 celery sticks, chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • Water to cover

Instructions

  4. carrot, peeled and chopped
  5. brown lentils, rinsed under cold water
  6. bone broth concentrate
  7. bay leaf
  8. small tomatoe, diced
  9. Salt and pepper to taste
  10. Water to cover
  11. Saute the onion, garlic, carrot and celery in a large pot with a little olive oil, until softened.
  12. Add in the lentils and stir through.
  13. Pour the water to cover the lentils and vegetables
  14. Add the bay leaf, bone broth concentrate, peeled tomatoe, salt and pepper.
  15. Cover and cook for 45 minutes or until the lentils have softened.
